We are from bike mad Belgium, the heart of Europe.

Let us know if you are in the area and we’ll go for a nice bike ride.

How did it all started?

As Belgians we are bike mad. Cycling has always been a part of our DNA. We are impregnated with all things cycling, from the local kermesses and cycling tourists whizzing by, to seeing our great heroes going veni vidi vici.
Out of this passion we started to browse through cycling culture’s colourful paraphernalia. From books, magazines and old bikes to caps and vintage cycling jerseys. We got fascinated with cycling’s heroic era - from late fties through the seventies - and its riders’ explorer style and spirit. With their laidback uniforms and loose attitudes, they simply beat the coolest guys. Unintentionally, just by being their hard-working selves. This fascination became the breeding ground for Coureur du Monde.

Where do the front & backpockets come from?

In designing Coureur shirts, we reinterpreted tradition by adding twisted authentic elements such as pointed collars, pockets and embroidered memorabilia, all easy on the eyes.
Especially the front and back pockets give our polos a unique face. Back pockets are still part of cyclists’ uniforms today, front pockets are replaced by supply caravans. Front pockets served to tuck away as many snacks as possible, picked up in roadside cafés, to share with the team and feed the muscles. Coureur du Monde brings these beautiful pockets back to life. Call them your very own following cars, your Coureur soigneurs.

Where do you design, manufacture and produce your products?

The Coureur du Monde design team works from our office in Ghent, Belgium. Our shirts are then produced in carefully selected facilities in Portugal. All our fabrics are sourced from some of the best mills in the world.
